Born in 1987 in Jackson, Mississippi, Brandon “FeSo” Smith has spent his life surrounded by music. During his first 2 years of life, he had his experiences with numerous musical genres through his parents and other family members. His father was a DJ during college and would constantly play records from his collection in the house. His mother was an avid gospel and soul listener. At the age of 3, FeSo moved to Aurora, Illinois where he was moved around to a few schools in the area. In 5th grade FeSo joined the school band playing the trombone to further his music knowledge.
