There are several artists that go by the name of Amani: 1. A Catalan pop rock band called Amani. 2. Amani Al Swissi, a young Tunisian chanteuse who got her big break by auditioning for the second season of pan-Arab Star Academy, in 2005. Her debut album, Wain, was released in 2007 under the Rotana label. Within a few months, Amani's popularity rocketed, with her hit single, Shayef Nafso. Her vocal and performing talents have made her a star already. She also shot a video for Wain recently with Mirna Khayat-Abou Elias.
