Canopy formed in 2002 and have since then releases two demo EPs, "During Day One" in late 2004, and "Will and Perception" in early 2005. The band realeased their first full-length album "Serene Catharsis", in 2006. In 2009 a re-recording of "Will and Perception" was done.
