Stripmines is a hardcore band from Raleigh, NC, recognized for their tough-as-nails, straightforward intensity in vein of American acts like Negative Approach , while also drawing influence from early Swedish hardcore. The band formed in late 2009 and features former and current members of Devour, Thieves, and Old Painless. They released their Failsafe Demo in early 2010, followed by the release of their debut EP, Sympathy Rations on Sorry State Records. Stripmines' debut LP entitled "Crimes of Dispassion" is set for release in March of 2012.
