Sa Ding Ding
Sa Dingding (b. traditional Chinese: 薩頂頂 / simplified: 萨顶顶, 27 Dec 1983, in Inner Mongolia, China - aka Dingding Sa, 周鹏 & romanised: Zhou Peng), is a musician & singer - in Sanskrit, Tibetan, Laghu, Mandarin & a self-created language singer. She plays several instruments, incl: guzheng, tanggu, chau gong & morin khuur. Inspirations include Buddhism & Dhyāna yoga.
Sa Dingding's début album, Alive (2007), blends Asian & electronic musical styles. She won the title of 'Best Dance Music Singer' (China). She has performed at CCTV (a Chinese television network) & MTV.
In 2005, she visited the USA, as a representative of China, on an exchange trip in "culture and music communication." In 2006, she performed at the 2006 MTV Style Gala & 8th CCTV-MTV Video Music Awards.
In May 2014, she released Wonderland - a remix album co-produced with Conrank.
