Anouar Brahem Trio
One of the most famous and revered figures in Arabic music, Anouar Brahem’s dreamlike music is part Arabic classical music, jazz and French chamber music. Trained since the age of 15 by Tunisian oud master Ali Sriti, Brahem has long been considered one of the masters of Arabic music. He has come to be known in Europe for a series of acclaimed releases such as Mardar, Khomsa and Thimar on the respected ECM label.
