Trent Fast began his career as a solo artist at the tender age of 14 by recording a series of lo fi records in his Mankato, Minnesota home. Since then he has gone on to join a series of bands, most notably, Captain Standish, in which he handles guitar, vocal and most of the songwriting duties. His music is characterized by his unique DIY recording style, heavy guitar leads, often humorous lyrics, and the occasional use of electronics and keyboards. He has self released 7 albums to date: Trent Fast (2003)
