Hey, Sleeper is the name given to the music of 25-year-old singer songwriter Luke Roberts, from Berkshire, England. Taking influence from artists such as Elliott Smith, William Fitzsimmons, Iron and Wine, and Bright Eyes, the songs centre on simple chords, with a focus on thoughtful, rarely-rhyming lyrics and memorable vocal melodies.
Following the break-up of a band and the purchase of an eight-track recorder in 2010, Luke started posting songs online for his friends and family, and soon began receiving gig offers.
