Sapna is from Bihar and relocated to Mumbai, she has sung for prominent musicians like Nadeem Shravan , A. R. Rahman, Sandeep Chowtha and others.
Her biggest hit to date is her duet 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' (with Sukhvinder Singh) for A. R. Rahman's Dil Se (1998).
