Ulgebräk
Ulgebräk was a pop band from Gävle, Sweden, active from 1989 to 1995. The main lineup consisted of Jan Bidner (vocals and guitar) and Markus Åberg (vocals and keyboards), although they were expanded to a six- or seven-piece band live, sometimes including musicians from the reggae band LionDub. The name doesn't actually mean anything, although they made up various weird explanations in interviews: once they claimed it was Russian for "arch supports". Musically they were all over the place: from indie pop to experimental synthpop, with excursions into ska (mostly live).
