There are at least two bands named "Holy Cow"
1) Holy Cow are an American band that surfaced in New England circa 1983 or earlier. Whatever compelled writer HP Lovecraft decades before somehow fused with this Post-Punk band and twisted into their brains.
First recorded appearance was "Zucchinni Dance" on the Throbbing Lobster VA LP, "Nobody Gets On The Guest List"
Albums include Call It What You Will, Suggested Reading, Soul Box, and Purge. They released 2 7" singles, and quite a few demos in their 25+ years as an innovating force in Goth/Deathrock circles.
