There have been at least two bands called Big Rig. (1) Big Rig was a punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area fronted by singer/songwriter Jesse Michaels, who formed the band after the break-up of his previous project, Operation Ivy, and before forming the band Common Rider. Big Rig released one 4-song, 9-minute EP entitled Expansive Heart in 1994 on Lookout! Records. (2) There was a Tennessee metalcore band called Big Rig who released a self-titled EP in 2006.
