Late! is Dave Grohl's solo project from the time he spent in Nirvana. Upon joining Nirvana, Dave Grohl spent several awkward months rooming with Cobain in a cramped, fleabag apartment in Olympia, Washington. "The whole winter Dave and I spent together in that little apartment was the most depressing time I'd had in years," Cobain told biographer, Michael Azerrad. "There wasn't a lot to do," recalled Grohl.
