There are two different artists who have used this name: 1. Orison is a five piece modern rock act formed in Seattle, Washington. The music is a perfect blend of catchy melodies, thoughtful songwriting and intricate musicianship. Vocalist Jacob McIntyre, originally from Vermont, was attracted to the vibrant Seattle music scene and made the move to pursue his passion. He soon met bassist Scott Boyd and drummer Brandon Thomas via classified ads, and after finding guitarists Cyril Silverman and James McDonald, Orison was formed.
