Surgical Red is a four man punk rock band from Linköping, Sweden. The group consists of Tanja, vocals, Andreas on guitar, Jonathan on bass and Johnny beating away behind his drums. Tanja also write all of the lyrics.
They were formed after Tanja and Jonathan met at the Nykvarn Festival in Linköping, september 2005, and decided to team up, since he had a band but no lyrics or a singer, and she had the lyrics and a voice. They held their first concert only a couple of months later on, and made it to the semi finals in the regional music "competition" Rock Karusellen.
