Str8 Sounds
STR8 SOUNDS is the project of Steven E. Streight. Compositions span the genres of techno, computer, noise, electro-acoustic, blues, reggae, and sound collage music. STR8 SOUNDS arose from the ashes of art noise rockers CAMOUFLAGE DANSE, the band Streight formed with Bennett Theissen. CAMOUFLAGE DANSE was a Lower East Side NYC experimental rock ensemble 1980 - 1989. They performed at The Knitting Factory, Brooklyn Academy of Culture & Art (BACA), Brooklyn Armory, ReCherChez, Cuando, WGAF, Gas, NoSeNo, and WFMU.
