RLS (Russ Liquid Sound) is a multi-instrumentalist with a background in Jazz and Classical music. RLS combines many genres of music tastefully using both the electronic sound palette as well as live instrumentation. RLS has played and or collaborated with MARCHFOURTH, UPRITE DUB ORCHESTRA, GROOVEYARD, SAQI, SUBSWARA, LAFA TAYLOR, BLUETECH, LUMINOUS FOG, ANAHATA SOUND, MARV ELLIS, BEATS ANTIQUE, LYNX AND JAMIE JANOVER, ESCORT SERVICE, SLEATER KINNEY, OREGON JAZZ ORCHESTRA, BOUNCE BRIGADE, HOT PINK PURPLE… as well as a bunch of local artists from portland.
