Connie Nassios

Connie Nassios is a singer-songwriter from the Chicago area. She's worked with Expose, the Real McCoy and recently appeared as Barry Manilow's "Heavenly Choir" on his #1 CD, Greatest Songs of the Fifties. Her voice is often compared to Annie Lennox, K.D. Lang and reminds some of Sean Colvin and Tori Amos. She could be considered a neo-1970's classic singer-songwriter; a piano player that writes extremely catchy and compelling melodies, with ambient harmonies. I know her work well as I wrote the lyrics for her debut solo album "The Price." Overall, the nine songs on the CD represent an eclectic mix of ballads, some classic rock and a few with enough emotional intensity to fall into the alt-rock category. If one likes beautiful melodies sung with deep authenticity and a shot of darkness, Ms. Nassios's work is for you. Read more on Last.fm.
