The Prisoners we're one of the best UK Garage/Mod revival band from the 80's. Infected by 60's mod sounds of acts such as The Kinks, Pretty Things, Action, Small Faces, Booker T. & The MGs... The Prisoners have found their own way through 80's revivalism. Formed in Rochester,Kent, in 1980, by 1986. they recorded four Lps: A Taste of Pink! '82, TheWiserMiserDemelza '83, The Last Fourfathers '85.
