team9 vs. Stereogum

Team9 formed in the Australian summer of 1997 as a five piece rock band then slowly devolved into a one man and his computer band. They made two albums which were critically acclaimed but sunk without trace. In 2003 team9 started making bootlegs, putting them online and sending them out to like minded radio DJs. James Hyman and Eddy Temple Morris soon picked up on some tracks for their XFM remix show and Blender magazine featured a review for the Britney vs Pixies track.
