After breaking many a band's heart following brief flings, this distinctive new London-based pop artist premiered his solo material last year with a live PA at legendary club promoter Warboy's latest party venture in Shoreditch, SOS. Its infamous catwalk had not previously been used for a performance quite like it as he commanded the audience's attention with a pitch-perfect vocal and two back-up dancers.

An unashamed love of melody sets Christianoshi apart from his synth-playing hipster contemporaries yet clever lyrics which tend to avoid references to fucking at the discotheque find him somewhat outside the box frequented by his chart-bothering peers. Nevertheless, a publishing deal on self-penned songs yet to even be recorded was soon forged.

While his fondness for the 1980s is explicit, he is reluctant to cite influences. "I've been affected by so much music in my lifetime", he claims. "I think this is reflected in the diversity of my songs, which are essentially electronic pop."

His bedroom productions have benefited from collaboration with Kylie remixers Medicine 8, Trademark, Kryn und Krügen and early-Klaxons producer Scissorkicks.
