Copernicus (artist/musician):
Copernicus, born Joseph Smalkowski, is an avant-garde musician based out of New York. He has self-published at least eight albums of spoken-word content with music in the background. Some of his songs are improvised, while others are written beforehand. One thing common to all of them is that he writes no music; all the musical accompaniment is improvised by hired musicians.
