Coy "Hot Shot" Love


Hot Shot Love (Coy Love Jr., Clarksdale, Mississippi, September 9, 1914 - June 4, 1980) was an American blues harmonica player and singer. He was into his forties by the time he appeared at Sun Records to record his idiosyncratic harmonica solos and talking vocals. The son of Coy and Lula Love, he was born in , and he said he learned to play harmonica from his father and that he traveled through many states in his twenties and thirties, working and playing music where he could.
