Karcher has been around since the days of Teen Spirit. At a time when rock music returned in a raw and aggressive way, four guys decided to pick up instruments and form a band, too. It was rather the idea itself than abilities that kept them together. However, they developed. After the first sessions, the roles within the band were assigned and they began to write songs. Those were certainly influenced by the grunge heroes but also by the likes of Sonic Youth, Fugazi and The Pixies.
