Tjernobyl Dödar is an electropunk duo from the Norwegian parts of Sweden. Started out in 1993 as an imaginary arena rock band with no instruments, but over time when they could afford instruments and learned how not to play the ambitions were brought down to earth a bit. Tjernobyl Dödar is mostly inspired by the Pet Shop Boys, children's songs and the Swedish punk wave of 1981-83. Once credited as Östersund's only true underground band.
