Acoustic musician who had early success in Milwaukee Wisconsin as part of an acoustic dou with Michael Hayes who went on to front the Boston based band The Vinyl Skyway. Later Joe formed the folk rock group Big Sky with Peter Mulvey. Born at Marquette University Big Sky was made up of 5 students and recorded a single EP called View the World with 5 tracks.
