There are two artists called Neil Murray:

1) Neil Murray (born August 27, 1950, Edinburgh, Scotland) is a rock bassist who has played with over 30 bands including Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, and Gogmagog.

Neil Murray and his one-time Whitesnake bandmate John Sykes were also in a band called Badlands, but this was not the same Badlands that one-time Black Sabbath members Ray Gillen and Eric Singer were in.

Both bands with the name Badlands had one-time Black Sabbath members as members.

He also played for blues artist Gary Moore on albums Corridors of Power and Victims of the Future. He was also in Gilgamesh and National Health.
