In the 1970's UK based band leader Tony Evans & His Orchestra regularly backed Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdink and Gilbert O’Sullivan on their UK and European Tours. In addition to radio & television appearances Tony Evans led the Premier Orchestra at the Hammersmith Palais in London UK from 1979 to 1983.
