Suri
SURI are a cult stoner rock band from Jakarta, Indonesia that formed in 2008. Suri have a distinct yet traditional doom rock sound that incorporates stoner and sludge traits, with lyrics typically involving the life, horror films and cannabis. SURI still combines the slow tempos, heavy rhythms and dark, pessimistic atmosphere of doom rock with the aggression, shouted vocals and occasional fast tempos Psychedelic and Blues. But they also incorporate elements variously drawn from other sources, including psychedelic rock, punk, noise, minimalism, pure sludge-drone music à la Earth, and more.
