Maple
1. Maple was an indie-pop/rock band from Spain, formed in 1998. The band's sound consisted of Laura's pretty, yearning pop vocalisations over tight post-punk arrangements that bring to mind mid-era Rainer Maria. Although Maple never approached that band's popularity (likely due in part to the band's position releasing records on small labels outside of traditional indie geography - America and the UK) they are revered by fans of Spanish indie music and the scene around BCore Disc (who put out the band's full-length album.)
