A studio collaboration in 1987 that released a #1 UK hit 12" single called Pump Up The Volume. The work was done by 4AD artists AR Kane and Colourbox working in seperate studios on the two tracks. The b-side "Anitina (The First Time I See She Dance)" used AR Kane for sheets of feedback drenched guitar while Colourbox supplied the monumental beats and heavy dub effects. The single is considered a significant milestone in the development of acid house music and sampling culture. It was a worldwide hit in dance clubs of the era.
