Cruel Black Dove
Cruel Black Dove was an Electronic Rock/Psychedelic Rock band from Brooklyn, New York, USA, comprising of; Anastasia Dimou [Vocals/Synths], Alan Veucasovic [Guitars/Synths], Shirley Ho on Bass and Jonathan Nanberg on Drums.
The band released their first EP, Full Powers in May 2008 and their last EP The Myth and the Sum in January, 2010. The band announced they were taking a break in 2011 via facebook and pursuing individual projects. Anastasia went on to form a new band Feathers, on being asked about Cruel Black Dove in a 2013 interview, she stated: “We’re all really good friends … so I would never say never,” she also said, “Alan…just did our second video for us. But everybody’s got their own thing going on right now.”
