Maunalua
Bobby Moderow, Jr., Kahi Kaonohi, and Richard Gideon (recent addition). Formed in 1993, their first album was introduced in 2000 and garnered “Hawaiian Album of the Year” at the Na Hoku Hanohano awards. Their third and latest album, “Ho’okanaka” was released in 2007 and won another Na Hoku Hanohano award when Maunahua was named “Group of the Year.” This group performed at an inauguration luau for President Obama.
