Austin-based artist DAX delivers a sound that has been compared to Nine Inch Nails and David Bowie. Singer Dax Callner and his eponymous band, DAX, are winning over fans with a mash-up of styles from multiple genres Their recently released CD, DAX: The EP, showcases a musical blend of industrial, funk, and rock with infectious rhythms and soulful lyrics. Lyrically, the material is personal, challenging and pointed at times, dark and sensual at others.
