Audio Violence could be the sound track for a serial murder. With songs that are "fast & furious" to "dark & dirty" A/V always brings forth a feeling of uncleanliness mixed with appeal. Thriving on the big guitar "Chicago punk" sound, the band stays true to it's roots, however never falls into a particular genre. It's like watching a snuff film. Disturbing? Yeah, but somehow your eyes keep wandering back. You don't know why you're drawn to it, you just are. That's what A/V does. Takes you by the throat & forces you to stare at things you never thought you'd want to see. Take a longer look & maybe you'll find something you like. A/V formed in November of 2003. Born out of the smoldering ashes of "Last Caress" they soon carved their own niche in the Chicago Punk scene. Noted for their live shows which are as tight as they are intense, the band built a large following of rabid fans. They've played with many of the city's heavy hitters & were never outshined. This band "brings it", period! With their debut album soon to be released in the fall on '05, the infection can only spread further.
