Hobart based Ben Wells & the Middle Names (BW&TMN) has had a busy 12 months playing at the Falls Festival, MS Fest, One Fine Day Fest and O Week. These appearances have capped off selling out shows with crowds in excess of 300 in hometown Hobart, winning three Amplified Awards including Emerging Artist of the Year, and Melbourne gigs at The Espy and at the East Brunswick Club supporting The Little Stevies.

Singles 'Old Sea Salt' and 'Lullaby' were released in April, with two launch shows (18+ and all ages) drawing a crowd of 500 to celebrate. Both tracks have been received well; with Old Sea Salt recording a spot for 6 weeks running in Air It's Top 10 Most Ordered for Air by Australian community radio.

BW&TMN has just completed recording their debut EP 'House, Come Home'. The first single 'Robin Hood' is available via triple j unearthed - www.triplejunearthed.com/benwellsandthemiddlenames

Their songs bring together indie-pop riffs with an acoustic edge, punchy and upbeat melodic hooks, 5-part harmonies, complimentary male and female lead vocal, violin and piano.
