Dizzy Balloon was a five-man pop group from Piedmont, California, noted for its upbeat, "positive" sound. The group was previously known as Panda but changed its name due to issues with the Mexican rock group of the same name. The group was formed when its members, now college-aged, were in middle school. As high school juniors — then performing as Panda — the band regularly sold out Bottom Of The Hill, a legendary breeding ground for San Francisco Bay Area talent.
