Los Aguilares
For over fifity years, Los Aguilares has been playing conjunto music in Texas. Original member Genaro Aguilar is continuing the music after the December 2009 passing of co-founder and brother Emilio Aguilar at the age of 70. Excerpt from the San Antonio Express News, January 12, 2011- The legendary group grew out of Conjunto Guadalupano, a conjunto trio formed at Our Lady of Guadalupe on El Paso Street which included Emilio, Genaro and older brother Frank.
