Thereza Lorraine Bazar was born on 23rd May 1957 in Toronto Canada. After leaving Arts Educational, a dance and drama college in London, she auditioned for a new version of The New Seekers (where she first met Trevor Horn). Although she got the job, the band only lasted for a few weeks; she then joined Guys And Dolls, where she met David Van Day. Dissatisfied with the direction of the band, they left and, in 1978, formed the duo Dollar, where they became one of the most successful boy/girl acts ever in the UK.
