Empyrean may refer to one or more artists under the same name. 1. Empyrean focuses on merging technicality with diverse, yet accessible progressive elements within their music. This five piece from Champaign, IL, recently released the "Aesthesis" EP and intends to continue creating their art at a juggernaut pace. 2. Empyrean is an extreme metal sextet from Brisbane, Australia with widely spanning inspiration from melodic, dark and symphonic soundscapes. They released their debut album, Quietus, in 2008.
