sollipsist ("little S, two L's") is the pseudonym of Las Vegas-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter James Lee Phillips. Not overly concerned with output consistency, quality, or quantity, sollipsist remains rightfully obscure even to those who have heard him. Equally lost on electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, electronic equipment and anything else that makes noise, sollipsist persists in making music since the mid-80's despite serious limitations in skill, creativity, originality and outside interest.
