Asphyxiating formed in 2010 when members Kyle, Mike W. and Dan left their previous band to pursue original sounding music. Asphyxiating did not appear on the New Jersey scene until 2012 after finding members Mike S. and Ken to complete the line up. Their debut EP is set to release Summer 2013.
