Men with a Plan idea first come upon from the early friends Ilker Ciftci and Can Cakmakci when they are at the University in 2006. Prior to the concentration to the band; Can and İlker has been involved into many projects individually. By evolving at these times they start to share their both influences and aggregations on producing the debut album at 2010.
Reflecting a good example of Rocktronica and Minimal Techno gems , Men with a Plan collaborates with Erdinc Kaya on guitars and finished their debut albüm “Batteries Not Included”. With a successfull launch at Salon IKSV of the album which was released on Remoov the band starts to perform at well known venues in Istanbul like as Peyote , Nublu and Dogzstar. With a great impact on short time MWAP gains the attachment and the attention of a big crowd. Meanwhile they gave some interviews on the pressed media such as Cumhuriyet , Hurriyet and Sound Magazine.
The album clearly shows bands unique style with the combination of refined melodramatic synth-rock melodies with german-canadian techno dubs.
