Are Kalvø is one of Norway's most popular comedians, known mostly for his books and his work for the radio show "Hallo i uken". He has also written a bunch of satire/humor books like "Bibelen 2" ("The Bible 2"), "Kunsten Å Vere Neger" ("How To Be A Negro"), "Våre Venner Kinesarane" ("Our Friends The Chinese") and "Syden" ("The South"). Some of his trademarks are making fun of Norwegian ways of thinking, Norwegian attitude and the Norwegian society in general. Most of his books are also rereased as audio books, which he reads himself.
