Sharon West is a multi-instrumental composer who has been writing music full-time for about the last 5 years.
During her youth she played piano, recorder, violin and saxophone, and seriously debated pursuing music in college but ended up getting a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from the University of Illinois (Champaign/Urbana) before embarking on a 20 year career in Telecom. She also earned her MBA from Northwestern University mid-way in her Telecom career, which has helped immensely in her current situation of running her own independent record label.
