Colby Veil has spent the last 10 years in Hollywood making a name as one of the most talented vocalists around. Having spent much of his life training to be a lead vocalist, he never set aside his beliefs or values and kept Rock n Roll alive. Having been influenced by so many different vocalists, Colby can come out and sound exactly like Axl Rose one night, giving off the energy and passion of a true Guns n Roses show from back in the day, and then perform with his original band Dopesnake, giving a whole different approach to his vocal style and showmanship. In 2007, Colby was honored to be handpicked to sing with Steven Adler from Guns n Roses for his Adler’s Appetite “20th Anniversary of Appetite for Destruction” tour which began at The Key Club in Hollywood, CA and then took him through South America, Mexico and parts of the US. Colby’s ability to be versatile has made it so he has embraced many opportunities in Hollywood to be involved in high profile events, and has shared the stage with Izzy Stradlin(Guns n Roses), Joe Leste(Bang Tango, Beautiful Creatures), Duff McKagan(Guns n Roses),Chip Z’Nuff (Enuff Z’nuff) Michael Thomas(Faster Pussycat, Adler’s Appetite) , Marc Diamond(The Dwarves, Motochrist), Taime Downe (Faster Pussycat), Chad Stewart(Faster Pussycat, Motochrist, LA Guns), Paul Stanley(Kiss), Steven Adler(Guns n Roses), Sully(Godsmack), Chavo(System of a Down), Jani Lane(Warrant), Kevin Dubrow(Quiet Riot), Vinnie Dombroski(Sponge, Crud, The Orbitsuns), Gilby Clarke (Guns n Roses), Matt Sorum (Guns n Roses, The Cult) and many more.

Equipped with his wireless Shure Microphone, he provides the audience exactly what they want. Feeding off their energy, he provides a setting where fans can let loose and find the true rock n roll spirit inside. With the signing of Hollywood Roses to Cleopatra Records in 2006, Colby also formed an original band “Dopesnake” with writing partners Danny Nordahl (NY Loose, The Throbs, Motochrist), and Chad Stewart. Dopesnake played the 2007 Monster Energy Drink/Coffin Case showcase at SxSW, in Austin Texas.

Deadline/Cleopatra Records first release Hollywood Roses – Dopesnake featured so many guest stars and is compiled of incredible band mates, Colby is preparing for a 2010 tour put together by their new booking agency Music Zirconia for Hollywood Roses- “Straight out of the Gutter” (2008 Best Tribute Band – Rock City News) and also continues to write original music with Dopesnake and is in pre-production for the second release from Deadline/Cleopatra Records for “Hollywood Roses”
