The Silence/Henrietta Atooma Alele is an abstract constructivist painter and a writer and performer of folk influenced blues music that has been described as odd rock. Her apprenticeship began on stage in the theatre while she was still at The Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. “After two years of being an “A” level boarder at Sevenoaks School in Kent, London was decidedly liberating. It was just brilliant to be able to link up with other drummers like myself for jamming sessions”.
