Clarion Call
Clarion Call is norwegian band, with Gisle Aarlott as the main creative driving force.
1988 saw the release of the 7"vinyl single Dandelion/Late on the Luna Music label (LMS311). The s/t album Clarion Call (Artistique CCCD 1-95, 1995) was written when Aarlott still lived in Oslo, which is reflected in some of the lyrics. For example is the song Green Grass Island inspired by one of the islands in the Oslo fjord. Aarlott relocated to Steinkjer in Nord Trøndelag, where the promo single Beyond Control and the subsequent album The Next Big Thing (Callers CCCD 3-00, 2000) were released.
