Yaneka
YANEKA is Chiyako and Yui Maeda, a brother and sister duo from Japan.
Both are ex-members of the band 'World Defense Lovers' which madeNo.2 with their album
'7 lyrics 7 musics' in the Tower records Indie chart in Japan. YANEKA was formed in Feb 2005 and are now based in London and Japan where they regularly perform live. Their unique and beautiful sound takes inspiration from folk music from around the world, especially traditional Japanese and more recently ambient music styles.
