Vital Farias
Vital Farias (Taperoá , January 23, 1943) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter.
In 1975 he moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he participated in many important artistic events, including the piece "Gota D'Água" by Chico Buarque de Hollanda. In 1981 he graduated from the Faculty of Music. The first recorded song by Vital Farias was "Ê Mãe", in collaboration with Livardo Alves and recorded by Ari Toledo. In 1978 he recorded his first album "Vital Farias". The second, "Taperoá," came two years later. In the late '80s, Vital decided to stop recording for a while to focus on academics. In 2002 he produced the debut album of his daughter, Giovanna, with 15 compositions of his own and released the album "Vital Farias ao vivo e aos mortos vivos".
